Greyhound Pets of Atlantic Canada (GPAC), the predecessor of GGPAC, was started in 1994 by Jeannette & Dave Reynolds. Between 1994 and 2020, with the support of many devoted volunteers, over 7,000 former racing Greyhounds were brought from the United States to loving homes in Atlantic Canada.
Our Greyhound adoption program has permanently closed.

GGPAC is committed to continuing our love and support of the Greyhounds that were adopted through GPAC. Previously GPAC and now GGPAC understands that life circumstances can change and sometimes that means no longer being able to provide care for our beloved Greyhounds. GGPAC continues to honour the original GPAC adoption contracts and will rehome any GPAC Greyhound whose family can no longer provide them care. We have a network of loving foster homes ready to assist with rehoming when necessary.
If you are a GPAC Greyhound adopter and you need help, please contact our GGPAC Greyhound Coordinators: Natalie and Kelley or any GGPAC Board member.
